Submitted for CCExtractor version unknown (released 2009-01-01)
Platform: Windows
Parameters: -out=sami -latin1 -autoprogram
Notes: timings are wrong (possibly due to bad stream) Our programs are captioned "live", as we play the original file through an Evertz HD9084 Caption encoder, a remote operator listens to the audio on a telephone connection and types. We record the combined output to server. Since we have been mandated by the FCC to provide captions on anything we also distribute online, I have been trying to use CC extractor to pull the ancillary data stream from the file and create a "sami: version. The timings seem incorrect and stop incrementing after a while, we end up with just one line of captions frozen on the screen. Is it a problem with CC Extractor reading 608 ancillary data? Or a problem with the stream written to the original file? Also can you decode 708 data?
